The ladies of Hey Now! had an awesome time with the Women’s Business Center of Northern Ohio last week at In The Company of Women, an event dedicated to celebrating and uplifting female entrepreneurs.
We were inspired and grateful and left with full stomachs thanks to the excellent catering and restaurant businesses who provided samples of their wares. From vegan mint brown parfaits from Vegan Vicki to burritos from Boca Loca Burrito Factory, we had plenty to munch on during the presentation.
Congratulations to the women whose hard work was recognized during the awards portion of the ceremony. We were particularly inspired by WBC member of the year Crystal Muscatello’s story.
Having come back from a tour in Iraq and labeled as “permanently disabled” by the VA, Crystal struggled for a time before discovering alternative healing and qigong. Crystal built her own business focused on wellness coaching to help her clients achieve their highest possible quality of life.
Watching each woman receive recognition for her hard work and talking to the aspiring and growing female entrepreneurs around our table was an unforgettable experience. The Women’s Business Center provides resources to help all these ladies conceptualize, startup, and run a sustainable business.
